Bonjour! I am Rania, a self-taught artist who grew up in France and later found my artistic home in the United States. My journey has been one of passion, healing, and unyielding dedication to the canvas.
Art, for me, is more than pigment on canvas—it is my sanctuary. It has been my refuge during both joyous and sorrowful times. The act of creation, like carving secrets into a waiting canvas, defies mere description.
From Pencil to Brush: As a child, I believed my drawings were wondrous. Each day, I’d sketch with fervor. As I matured, my critical eye sharpened, but the urge to paint remained steadfast. In my teens, I dipped my brush into oils, and a love affair with color began.
Women in Oils: My passion lies in painting women. Their stories, their resilience, their myriad facets—they unfold on my canvas. Oils, with their richness and depth, allow me to breathe life into these portraits.
The Unexpected Journey: Never did I envision art as my livelihood. Yet here I am, navigating the solitary path of an artist. The fulfillment I find each day is hard-won, but it fuels my spirit.
